Blog advertising example

In the German blogosphere the topic of advertisements and paid posts (e.g. through Trigami, similar to PayPerPost) is heavily disputed. Now, an interesting example has shown how NOT to do it: Here a blogger wrote a paid post about an owner of vacation apartments in Dresden. With little knowledge about the apartments themselves he focussed more on the bad web layout (in more or less sloppy language). The principal didn’t really appreciate the critique and a long argument arose – completely carried out through the comments to this post. This is a very interesting case study that shows how much has to be done before blogs will finally arrive as small business marketing medium with respect to blogger behavior and company expectations. Nevertheless a very amusing reading…

    Unbedingt lesen!!!
